Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the One of One mobile application ("the App"). By creating an account or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. What the App does
One of One turns your self-reported real-life progress into one persistent, AI-generated pet whose appearance evolves over time. Pet images are generated by an AI image model and are unique interpretations; exact results vary and cannot be guaranteed to match any specific expectation.
2. Not medical or clinical advice
The App is for entertainment and personal motivation only. It does not provide medical, psychological, clinical, diagnostic, or therapeutic advice, and must not be used as a substitute for care from a qualified professional.
3. Subscriptions, billing, and auto-renewal
- Your first personalized evolution is free. Ongoing generated weekly evolutions require a One of One Premium auto-renewable subscription.
- Pricing (US): $4.99 / month or $39.99 / year. Prices in other regions are Apple's localized equivalents and are shown in the App before purchase.
- New subscribers may receive a 14-day free trial. Eligibility is determined by Apple; only one introductory offer is available per subscription group.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription auto-renews at the then-current price unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel any time in your Apple Account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; the current paid period remains active until it ends.
- Premium unlocks new generated weekly evolutions. Your pet, home, goals, check-ins, Bond, care history, and existing content remain accessible if you cancel or your subscription lapses.
4. Your account and content
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you report and for activity under your account. Do not submit unlawful, abusive, or infringing content. We may decline to generate an evolution for input that cannot be safely or meaningfully rewarded.
5. Intellectual property
The App, its software, and its underlying pet designs are owned by the App's operator. Subject to these Terms, you receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the App and to enjoy the pet imagery generated for your account.
6. Disclaimers and liability
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notified in the App. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
