Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the One of One mobile application ("the App"). By creating an account or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. What the App does
One of One turns self-reported real-life progress into evolving companions. You may own as many companions and run as many active goals as you want, with at most one active goal on each companion. Resting companions need no upkeep and lose nothing. Optional AI-generated looks vary and cannot be guaranteed to match a specific expectation.
2. Not medical or clinical advice
The App is for entertainment and personal motivation only. It does not provide medical, psychological, clinical, diagnostic, or therapeutic advice, and must not be used as a substitute for care from a qualified professional.
3. Subscriptions, billing, and auto-renewal
- Your first personalized evolution is free. Ongoing generated weekly evolutions require a One of One Premium auto-renewable subscription.
- Pricing (US): $4.99 / month or $39.99 / year. Apple and Google show the exact local price in the app before you buy.
- New subscribers may receive a 14-day free trial when the store offers it. Apple or Google decides eligibility, and the offer shown before purchase is the one that applies.
- Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account at confirmation. The subscription auto-renews at the price and renewal time shown by that store unless you cancel before renewal.
- Manage or cancel any time in Apple Account subscriptions or Google Play subscriptions. Cancellation stops future renewals; the current paid period remains active until it ends.
- Premium unlocks new generated weekly evolutions. Your pet, home, goals, check-ins, Bond, care history, and existing content remain accessible if you cancel or your subscription lapses.
4. Your account and content
You are responsible for what you submit and for activity under your account. Do not submit unlawful, abusive, or infringing content. An image provider may decline a request under its required safety rules. If that happens, your original companion remains available and unchanged.
5. Intellectual property
The App, its software, and its underlying pet designs are owned by the App's operator. Subject to these Terms, you receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the App and to enjoy the pet imagery generated for your account.
6. Disclaimers and liability
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notified in the App. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
